2. What are the recommended image dimensions for Instagram, YouTube, and Etsy?
Instagram square posts use 1080×1080 px, Instagram Stories/Reels use 1080×1920 px, YouTube thumbnails use 1280×720 px, and Etsy product listings recommend 2000×2000 px.
3. How do I scale an image down by 50% while keeping its exact aspect ratio?
Select "50% Scale" in the Quick Preset dropdown. Both width and height are halved automatically.
4. Does enlarging a small image (upscaling) improve its sharpness for print?
Increasing pixel dimensions makes the pixel grid larger, but it cannot invent fine detail that was not captured in the original photo. For large prints, always start with the highest-resolution source file available.
5. What pixel dimensions do I need for an 8x10 inch print at 300 DPI?
Multiply inches by 300: 8 × 300 = 2400 px width, and 10 × 300 = 3000 px height (2400×3000 px). After resizing, click "300 DPI ➔" to write the 300 DPI header.
6. Can I batch resize 50 ecommerce product photos to the exact same size?
