How to Use the Background Remover
1. Step 1: Drop Your Product Photo, Logo, or Signature
Drag and drop a PNG, JPG, or WebP image into the studio, or click Load sample to test.
2. Step 2: Choose Client Mode (100% Local) or Optional HD API Mode
Keep "Client Mode (100% Browser · No Upload)" selected for private local cutout, or switch to HD API Mode ifREMOVE_BG_API_KEY is configured on your server.
3. Step 3: Adjust the Colour Tolerance Slider (8–85)
Slide tolerance (default 36) to control how aggressively off-white shadows or studio backdrops are knocked out around your subject.
4. Step 4: Select Transparent PNG or Pure White (#FFFFFF) Fill
Choose "Transparent PNG (Checkerboard)" for logos, stickers, and design layers, or "Pure White (#FFFFFF)" for Amazon, Etsy, and Shopify product photos.
5. Step 5: Click Remove Background
Run the 3.5-second edge-flood and anti-aliased alpha feathering pass and inspect the cutout on the checkerboard canvas.

Drop your JPG logo or signature in Client Mode and keep Replacement Background set to "Transparent PNG". For scanned paper signatures, increase tolerance to 45–60 to clear grey paper shading.

Select "Pure White (#FFFFFF — Amazon/Etsy)" in the Replacement Background dropdown. The tool knocks out the original backdrop and composites your product onto pure RGB(255,255,255) white.
